Project Overview

I worked with Centr for over 4 years in the post production teaming, in the role of Project Lead Video Editor, where I’ve contributed to a wide range of content, everything from long-form video and audio for the app, to short-form content for social platforms. I’ve played an integral role in several major peak programs and a extensive rebrand, leading the visual direction of all video content. My work spans a mix of fitness-related educational content, workout videos, and high-impact social content that align with Centr’s mission to help people lead healthier lives.

How I Contributed

As the Project Lead Video Editor, my responsibilities cover a broad range of tasks and involve collaborating with multiple departments, including marketing, design, and content production. I’ve been trusted with driving and executing all editing projects for Centr’s video and audio content, managing tight deadlines and balancing multiple projects, ensuring that every video meets Centr’s high-quality standards while maintaining a consistent visual style across all platforms.

Long-Form & Audio Editing: Editing in-depth fitness tutorials, workout videos, and audio content in the form of meditations, podcasts and soundscapes for the app. Elevating the visual tone of every piece of content with expert Color Grading, ensuring it’s not only true to brand but also visually engaging.

Short-Form Social Content: Adapting the long-form content into snappy, high-engagement social media clips that are optimized for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.

Motion Graphics and UX: Leading the visual direction of video content, to create a suite of responsive motion graphic templates with cater for the many modalities of workout content available. Levereging Javascript to ensure pixel perfect animation that is impactful and accesible. In addition, during major rebrands, ensuring all videos align with the new creative direction, and enhancing user experience through dynamic motion graphics and custom video UI templates.

One of my personal achievements was optimising the editing process with efficienct templates and standardised responsive motion graphics, that allowed for faster turnarounds while maintaining high production values, especially with large volumes of content.

The Final Result

Working with Centr has been a truly rewarding experience, not just because of the creative challenges, but also due to the opportunity to be part of a brand that is changing how people approach fitness and wellness. As a Project Lead Video Editor, I’ve honed my skills in both creative direction and technical execution, and have been proud to help guide the visual identity of such a prominent fitness brand.

This role has allowed me to grow as both a creative professional and a leader, balancing artistry with technical precision, while constantly pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in video production.
