Project Overview

This fast-paced video was created as part of a Centr x HYROX collaboration, following Centr athlete Jake Williamson on his Road to the HYROX World Championships. The video was designed to capture Jake’s challenges on the path to the championships, culminating in a dynamic narrative of his journey to the world stage.

How I Contributed

I worked as the editor on this project, pulling together footage from multiple key race-day leading up to the HYROX World Championships. My task was to curate the narratively relevant moments and maintain HYROX race continuity to create a cohesive, high-energy story. I also handled colour grading, created a custom remix of the music + sound design, and the pacing of the video to ensure it captured viewers attention.

The Final Result

This project pushed me to think creatively about how to tell a complete story in such a short time frame, using limited footage to craft something compelling. It was a rewarding challenge to showcase Jake's athleticism while maintaining the high-energy tone that fits both the Centr and HYROX brands.
